Presbyterian Women’s General Meeting/Salad/Soup Lunch, October 26, 12:15 p.m. All women are invited to the PW General Meeting on October 26 following the worship service. We will be approving the 2026 Budget and the incoming PW Officers. Please bring your favorite salad or soup to share. ALL WOMEN OF THE CHURCH ARE INVITED!
Upcoming PW Installation, November 2, 11 a.m. The 2026 Presbyterian Women Officers will be installed during the worship service on Sunday, November 2.
Toys for Tots—Deadline December 5. The Presbyterian Women are collecting for Toys for Tots again this year. Please bring new, unwrapped toys to the church by December 5 and place them in the sleigh outside of the library.
Memorial Service for Stephanie Lozel, November 8, 11 a.m. The family of Stephanie Lozel will be having a graveside service for Stephanie on November 8, at 11 a.m. at the Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Avenue SW, Marietta, GA 30064. The family will be providing lunch at LeZiahey Linda's, 3625 Dallas Hwy. 645, Marietta 30064 following the service at 12 noon.
School Supplies Needed. We are collecting school supplies for Morrow Elementary - our Partner in Education school. Things like #2 pencils, permanent markers, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, composition books, and notebook paper. We are collecting now and throughout the year to support the school’s needs. There is a shopping cart in the narthex for the supplies.
Favorite Hymn or Worship Song? Do you have a favorite hymn or worship song you’d like to hear for the prelude or offertory? Or a special praise song from your home country? Your organist would like to know! There are request forms on the shelf behind the piano in the sanctuary. Please fill one out and put it in the box.
Heifer International. There are chicks, heifers, goats, sheep, pigs, water buffalo, and so much more waiting to go to good homes. For $120 you can gift a Dream Basket that includes a sheep, heifer, goat, rabbits and a flock of chicks, along with training and education in their care. Check out the board in the hallway near Noah’s Ark and see what you can find. You may also give money to the PW. Checks to MPC Women, earmarked Heifer International.
Food Pantry Volunteers Needed. We are in need of more volunteers to help out with our ministry here. We could use some folks to help out with our food delivery on Wednesdays and also on Thursday afternoon. We have other tasks like bagging food that can be done at any time, and we are very flexible. Even one day a month would be helpful. Please see David Turner if you are interested in helping out.
