Young at Heart , December 3, 11:30 a.m. The YAH will be going to the Olive Garden in Morrow.
Toys for Tots—Deadline December 5. The Presbyterian Women are collecting for Toys for Tots again this year. Please bring new, unwrapped toys to the church by December 5 and place them in the sleigh outside of the library.
PWCT Christmas Party, December 7, 12:30 p.m. The Presbyterian Women’s Coordinating Team will be having their annual Christmas gathering in the Fellowship Hall.
Youth Christmas Party, December 7, 5:00 p.m. The Hootens will be hosting the annual Youth Christmas Party at their home.
PJs and Pancakes, December 13, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Kid’s Club is hosting a Christmas Party!! All children and youth are welcome to attend. Wear your favorite PJ’s and come to enjoy Christmas crafts and activities!
Christmas Cantata, December 14, 11 a.m. The Canterbury Choir will present their Christmas Cantata, “Follow the Star, Follow the King” on Sunday, December 14 at the 11 a.m. worship service. Make plans now to be at church that morning as you won’t want to miss it.
Christmas Family Night Supper and Program, December 14, 5:00 p.m. Please plan to join us on Sunday, December 14. We will begin with a covered-dish supper at 5 p.m. We will continue with a Christmas program which includes singing, the Joy Gift Offering, and recognizing our Pastor and staff with a love offering.
School Supplies Needed. We are collecting school supplies for Morrow Elementary - our Partner in Education school. Things like #2 pencils, permanent markers, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, composition books, and notebook paper. We are collecting now and throughout the year to support the school’s needs. There is a shopping cart in the narthex for the supplies.
Favorite Hymn or Worship Song? Do you have a favorite hymn or worship song you’d like to hear for the prelude or offertory? Or a special praise song from your home country? Your organist would like to know! There are request forms on the shelf behind the piano in the sanctuary. Please fill one out and put it in the box.
Food Pantry Volunteers Needed. We are in need of more volunteers to help out with our ministry here. We could use some folks to help out with our food delivery on Wednesdays and also on Thursday afternoon. We have other tasks like bagging food that can be done at any time, and we are very flexible. Even one day a month would be helpful. Please see David Turner if you are interested in helping out.
