Elder Care After-Church Luncheon, TODAY, 12:15 p.m. All of our congregation and friends are invited to a covered-dish luncheon following the worship service. Everyone is encouraged to sit with their elder care groups for an opportunity to get to know one another. All of our church friends and visitors are invited to stay and feel free to join any group as you will be welcomed.
Young at Heart Lunch, February 4, 11:30 a.m. The Young at Heart will meet on Wednesday, February 4, at 11:30 a.m. at Chili’s in Morrow. Please let Bruce or Libby know if you plan to attend.
Scout Sunday, February 8, 11 a.m. Scout Sunday will be next Sunday, February 8. All Scouts in our church family are invited to be part of the service. If you would like to participate, please contact David Turner. A reception will follow the worship service in fellowship hall.
PWCT Meeting, February 8, 12:15 p.m. The PWCT will meet in the McNair/Seekers classroom. Anne Fordham has the devotion and refreshments.
Valentine Dinner/Dance, February 14, 5 p.m. EVERYONE is invited to attend our Valentine Dinner on February 14 at 5 p.m. Dinner will be prepared by David Turner family & friends. Menu: Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, Salad, Bread, Dessert. Cost: $15 per adult; $5 per teenager; FREE for 12 and under. Nursery provided. Payments may be given to the church office prior to the dinner OR you may pay at the door. Come join your church family as we celebrate God’s love for all of us. Sign up sheet in the narthex.
Kid’s Club Volunteers Needed. We are currently looking for volunteers to help work with the children’s ministry ages 4 to 5th grade. This is a meaningful way to serve and support the next generation. If you’re interested, please contact Twarna Johnson @ 678-683-8030. We would love to have you join the team!
Presbyterian Women Collecting Pop Tabs. The PW will be collecting pop tabs again to support the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is a place where parents can stay, free of charge, when their infant or child is in the Children’s Hospital. Dianne Hooten will be the contact for this project.
School Supplies Needed. We are collecting school supplies for Morrow Elementary - our Partner in Education school. Things like #2 pencils, permanent markers, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, composition books, and notebook paper. We are collecting now and throughout the year to support the school’s needs. There is a shopping cart in the narthex for the supplies.
Favorite Hymn or Worship Song? Do you have a favorite hymn or worship song you’d like to hear for the prelude or offertory? Or a special praise song from your home country? Your organist would like to know! There are request forms on the shelf behind the piano in the sanctuary. Please fill one out and put it in the box.
Food Pantry Volunteers Needed. We are in need of more volunteers to help out with our ministry here. We could use some folks to help out with our food delivery on Wednesdays and also on Thursday afternoon. We have other tasks like bagging food that can be done at any time, and we are very flexible. Even one day a month would be helpful. Please see David Turner if you are interested in helping out.
