NOT MEETING - The Elementary I Sunday School Class is for 1st through 2nd grades and is taught by Susie Grant. They currently use David C. Cook’ Bible in Life curriculum. The lessons cover both the Old and New Testaments heroes, prophets, kings, and, of course, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and His life and teachings. The students enjoy reading out loud and discussing how these stories relate to our everyday life.

MEETING ONLINE - The Middle High Sunday School Class is for 6th to 8th graders and taught by Mary Ann Moriles. They use the Grapple guide book and video ,Bible reading and games to teach middle schoolers different topics that are relevant to their lives. NOT MEETING - The Senior High Sunday Class is for 9th through 12th graders and taught by Albert Coughlin and Allen Grant. We use FaithWeaver Now and discuss topics that are prevalent to our youth. Our students bring up issues that they are dealing with in their lives and we discuss Biblical truths that help them deal with them.
MEETING ONLINE - The College/Young Adults Sunday School Class is taught by Dock Gammage. We study by reflecting on how scripture is applied to our daily lives. They usually talk about current events and use them to relate how we are not much different than people in the Bible. MEETING ONLINE - The McNair/Seekers Sunday School Class is led by Romy Moriles and Allen Grant. A dynamic group working actively with the different ministries of the church, busybody parents raising kids while keeping their secular jobs and facing similar challenges at home, church, and workplace. It utilizes David C. Cook curriculum with the theme, “Deep Truth, Bold Faith, Changed Lives.” It finds relevance of the Scriptures to contemporary issues. NOT MEETING - The Arnold/Bates Sunday School Class is taught by James Eason and has no upper age limit, and no one graduates to another age group. On the other hand, there is always room for new members of any age. The class is studying the history of God’s people, as found in the Bible, with explanatory notes from other sources. At present, the class is studying the teachings of Jesus in the four gospels.
CURRENTLY MEETING BY PHONE - We meet at the church on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 10 a.m.
CURRENTLY MEETING BY PHONE. We meet on the third Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church. This group is for men and women of any age. We use a variety of teaching materials for Bible Study. Currently we are studying Praying the Lord’s Prayer for a Spiritual Breakthrough, a copy of which can be found in the MPC Library. Ongoing service projects are: feeding the homeless in cooperation with the Walston Family and in honor of the late Edith Walston, a charter member of the group, providing gift cards for a special parent Involvement Initiative at Clayton County Public Schools and providing an updated directory of services for Clayton County residents. Following the meeting, we usually have lunch at a local eatery. All are welcome to attend and/or to join the group.
